Car Explodes In Jersey City
A car carrying propane tanks in Jersey City exploded injuring 2 people.

The car was pared on New York Avenue at Congress Street when one of the three tanks exploded according to WABC TV. The 40-year-old man had put the tanks in the after doing some work at a deli. He suffered injuries to the head and chest and is in serious but stable condition.
The other injury was sustained by a man walking by at the time of the blast.
The fire was quickly contained after firefighters sprayed down the trunk according to WNBC TV.
