The Cape May County Sheriff's Department is enhancing two-way conversations with citizens who see something, and want to say something.  The new app for smartphones allows citizens to carry on a two-way dialogue with authorities about a suspected crime, drug activity or violence.  The app doesn't require the tipster to identify him or herself.

"The more help we get from citizens, the better we're going to be. I have always said that the criminal element has no greater enemy than citizens and police officers working together," Sheriff Gary Schaffer.

In fact, the Sheriff's office has adapted nicely to the digital age. They're also working on a new online program of pictures of those who are wanted by authorities.  The program, "The Facecrook Page," is expected to be available soon.
