Thirty-three-year-old Darrell Crone won't be eligible for parole for approximately 55 years under the sentence imposed Thursday in Camden.

Crone was found guilty in May of aggravated manslaughter and other offenses in the death of 27-year-old Timothy Loper Jr. of Pine Hill in December 2013. Authorities said Crone shot Loper outside a bar as Loper tried to break up a fight.

Prosecutors used surveillance video they said showed Crone in the bar and firing a gun at a crowd outside the bar after Loper was shot in the back.

Loper had served with the Marines in Afghanistan.
