Camden Fire Chief Michael Harper says the fire broke out just before noon Wednesday and was contained to one classroom.

Interim school superintendent Reuben Mills says students were evacuated but only for about 15 minutes.

He says there was a push to get them back into school because of temperatures below 20 degrees on a day that's the coldest in the area in two years.

Mills says the cause of the fire is believed to be "something combustible" in a closet.
