The Camden Riversharks' general manager says the Atlantic League team wants to stay at Campbell's Field in Camden, and the Camden County Improvement Authority, which owns the stadium, is considering the team's offer.

But the director of the Camden County government's freeholder board says the county wants taxpayers to get a good deal. Louis Cappelli says the county has heard from other baseball teams who are interested in the stadium.

The team could end up in New Britain, Connecticut. The Colorado Rockies are moving their affiliate from there to Hartford. The Atlantic League says it plans to have a team in New Britain next year.
