As of 4 this afternoon, the Gloucester County prosecutor has announced filing first degree murder charges against 2 brothers, one 15 and the other 17 in the death of 12 year old Autumn Pasquale. As it turns out, a caller this morning on the Dennis and Judi Show anonymously reported that neighborhood scuttlebutt centered around 2 brothers who have been suspected for a rash of bicycle robberies and may be linked to her death.

Two teenage brothers have been arrested and charged with murder in the death of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale.
The arrest of those teens, ages 15 and 17, was announced in a news conference on Tuesday afternoon with Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean Dalton.
Their names were not released. The prosecutor said a decision had not been made whether to charge them as adults, citing the ongoing investigation.

The 15-year-old was also charged with one count of luring.

The teens turned themselves in with their attorney earlier Thursday, Dalton said.

Investigators say Autumn's cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma consistent with strangulation. There was no sign of sexual assault, investigators said.

Police say the teens' mother called them after becoming concerned about online postings.

Autumn's body was found around 10:00 p.m. Monday in a recycling container not far from her Clayton home.

Autumn was last seen alive while leaving her home on her white BMX bicycle on Saturday afternoon. Police had been looking for that bike, which was finally found late Tuesday morning in a home next door to where her body was discovered.

With as serious a charge as the one these 2 brothers are facing, do you feel they should be tried as adults?

I say, "why not?"
