Bush tops Republican candidates

Less than two weeks after announcing he is exploring a 2016 presidential bid, Jeb Bush is the clear-cut frontrunner for the GOP nomination.

A new poll has Bush with 23 percent of Republican support.

The closest competitor is Gov. Chris Christie, who trails Bush by 10 points with 13 percent support.

Previous figures had Bush and Christie running tight in the polls, but the new numbers mark the first time any potential candidate has jumped out to a lead that big in the past two years.
