Bush decision affects Christie
Jeb Bush announcing he will actively explore running for president is not good news for Gov. Chris Christie.
Not only has Christie seen a drop in his national poll numbers among Republicans, a Bush candidacy also has financial implications.
Many analysts say that much of the money that Christie was counting on to fund his run will now shift to Bush.
And if Bush starts actively campaigning after January 1, it could prompt Christie to jump into a campaign sooner than he would like.
