Former President George W. Bush appeared at his first rally Monday, telling his brother's supporters in South Carolina in what could be a statement at Donald Trump, "We do not need somebody in the oval office who mirrors and inflames our anger and frustration."

This comes in wake of the debate Saturday night where GOP front-runner Trump again attacked the Bush family.

Trump weighed into reporters Monday saying, "If the Ex-President is campaigning for his brother, I think he's probably open to great scrutiny, maybe things that haven't been thought of in the past."

As the race enters an increasingly nasty phase, Donald Trump issued a statement, calling GOP rival and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, "The single biggest liar I've ever come across, in politics or otherwise."
