A new Bruce Springsteen single is expected to come out next week.

According to this:,
the single called “High Hopes” will be out this coming Monday, November 25th.

Bruce’s fans are legion. If you’re among them, you’ve probably been to multiple shows, have multiple albums; and overall think that the guy craps gold bricks with each and every release.

Bruce Springsteen will release a new single called “High Hopes” on Nov. 25. He announced the single Monday on his website. Billboard says a full album could arrive as early as January.

“High Hopes” is a cover of a song by The Havalinas, a Los Angeles folk-rock band that released one album for Elektra in 1990. Springsteen previously included a cover of the song in the 1996 documentary Blood Brothers.

Springsteen performed “High Hopes” during an Australian tour in the spring that featured Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello on guitar. Springsteen told Rolling Stone that he and the E Street Band spent a day off in a Sydney recording studio: “We did a couple of things that I wanted to put down. So that was very exciting. And being with Tommy was exciting.”

I once compared Bruce Springsteen to Frank Sinatra saying in effect that Bruce is as iconic to the baby boomer generation as Frank is or was to our parents.

I still hold that view…crazy as it may sound.
