Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will bring The River tour to New Jersey again in August.

The tour, which is in Europe now through the end of July, will begin a short second United States leg at MetLife Stadium on Tuesday, Aug. 23 and Thursday, Aug. 25. The tour will also stop at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Tickets for the MetLife Stadium stops go on sale Wednesday, May 18 at 10 a.m. while the Philly show go one sale Friday, May 20 at 10 a.m., all via Ticketmaster.

Concerts on the first leg of the "River" tour were each minimum three-hour performances of the album of the same name — but things may be different next time.

Springsteen aficionado Tom Cunningham, host of 105.7 The Hawk's Bruce Brunch, said the band "will not be performing the album in sequence, but it will certainly still be a focal point."

At end of the final U.S. stop at Barclay Center in Brooklyn, Springsteen told the crowd, "Tonight this is going to be our last official performance of The River from start to finish. We're going to open up our set list overseas," according to Billboard writer Michelle Amabile. "We've had a great time performing this record for all of you. We hope you have enjoyed it in the United States. So let's go down to the River one more time and see what we find."

"The River" tour made a stop at the Prudential Center in Newark in January.
