Tuesday marks one-year since lane closures on the George Washington Bridge caused massive traffic jams in Fort Lee for four days, a move that was apparently done for political retribution because Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich didn't back Gov. Chris Christie in his bid for a second-term as governor.

Has Christie put Bridgegate behind him?  It appears he has.

After a self-imposed period of exile and contrition, Christie is back to his old self, warning calamity unless public workers accept another round of pension and benefits cuts and earning national headlines.

He's also raking in money and bolstering his national profile while traveling the country in his role as chairman of the Republican Governors Association.

What happens next will depend largely on what is revealed in the federal investigation, but at this point, all signs point to Christie putting the scandal behind him.

Meanwhile, Democrats continue to criticize Christie as they continue to conduct their own investigation.
