Another round of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening is crossing New Jersey.

The National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings for central New Jersey as cells of strong storms are moving towards central and northern counties with heavy rain & quarter-size hail in some places with winds blowing up to 60MPH. Trees were knocked down in Trenton and a window shattered at Trenton-Mercer Airport according to NWS observers.

Another line of storms in central Pennsylvania at 6:00PM could move into New Jersey later this evening.

The storms have not knocked out power in PSE+G's service area according to their outage map.

JCP+L has over 1700 customers in Morris County  and 1800 customers with no service according to its outage map with Mount Olive & Lambertville having the most customers in the dark.

PSE+G also has a scattering of customers on its outage map.
