Boy Hurt In Accident Involving Personal Watercraft
Authorities say a young boy was hospitalized after being injured in a personal watercraft accident in Ocean City this weekend.
But details on how the accident occurred remained unclear Sunday.
Ocean City fire officials tell The Press of Atlantic City that the accident occurred around 5 p.m. Saturday and involved at least one personal watercraft and a tow-behind inflatable.
The boy, whose name and age were not released, suffered trauma to his legs, midsection and pelvic area. He was conscious and talking at the scene, and was later flown by helicopter to a hospital in Philadelphia.
The state police marine unit is investigating the accident.
