David McAuliffe disappeared when his Sea Tow boat, the Cape Hatteras, sank off the Great Egg Harbor Inlet on April 23. The Coast Guard suspended its search for the 34-year-old two days later.

Ron and Beverley Denney tell the Press of Atlantic City they were walking along the beach and saw police Wednesday morning. Beverley Denney says she found a paddle yesterday that came from the vessel.

The 49-foot-long boat was raised Sunday after it was found upside down and partially buried in sand on Thursday night.
