Body found in Lakewood believed to be missing teen
LAKEWOOD — Police said Wednesday that the body found in the woods near Arlington Avenue is believed to be that of missing teen Elibit Mena.
Mena, 18, was reported missing by his mother on Sunday when an unoccupied car was found at Shenandoah Park where he was to meet with friends.
Detective Lt. Gregory Staffordsmith said police were notified just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday that a woman walking her dog had found the body. As of Wednesday night no arrests had been made in the case.
