Body found alongside NJ Turnpike

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding a body that was found alongside the northbound NJ Turnpike Tuesday.

The NJ State Police posted a notice on their Twitter feed regarding the dead body, which was located in Mount Laurel near milepost 34.2.

No additional information about the deceased's age, sex or cause of death has been released. Police had the right lane of the highway blocked as they conducted an investigation.
