Contractors Rescued from Boat on Carnegie Lake
Three contractors working on a boat in Princeton's Lake Carnegie have been rescued after the steering failed during heavy snowfall on Tuesday morning.
Jeffrey Horn, 50, of Bangor Pennsylvania, Kevin Shank, 29, from Pen Argyl, PA and Todd Schramm, 40 from Oxford got stuck on the dam as they installed aeration devices to keep the lake from freezing at the dam.
The steering failed causing the boat to drift and get stuck on the dam.
South Brunswick Patch reports rescue crews from Princeton, Kingston and South Brunswick worked to rescue the men by tying a line to the boat in order to pull them to safety.
Princeton Police say there were no injuries and no charges filed.
The lake is actually a reservoir formed by a dam on the Millstone River in the far northwest corner of Princeton. It was seen in the opening credits of the Fox series "House" with Jennifer Morrison's name for several seasons. The series took place at the fictional at the fictional Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH).
