The Piano Man performed for more than two hours before a sold-out crowd in New York City Wednesday night. He sang hits like "Uptown Girl," "We Didn't Start the Fire," "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" and "Only the Good Die Young."

The 66-year-old played piano for most of the night, but also rocked on the guitar and harmonica.

Joel has been performing at MSG once a month since last year.

John has performed at MSG 64 times. Joel sang John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" at the show.

Joel described John as "a good man and a good friend" before dedicating the song to him.
