Bill Doyle vs. the wall — an update as Doyle fights cancer

I'd like to say that I was in a death match with a wild bonobo who split my head open, but the reality is that I tripped in the bathroom and fell into the wall. This happened at the physical therapy rehab center. I pitched forward and slammed my head into the tile wall.

Afterward, I went to the emergency room and got four staples inserted into my head. It looks a lot worse than it actually is. If chemotherapy hadn’t robbed me of my hair, you probably wouldn’t even be able to see it.

Who do you think won, me or the wall?
