It was a magical night for Big Joe Henry as he and the NJ1015 staff were part of the Special Olympics NJ Opening Ceremony at The College of New Jersey.
Big Joe broadcasted live in what was an amazing event that was so special to be a part of.
Nearly 2,500 athletes will compete in seven sports during the 2015 Summer Games at The College of New Jersey in Ewing. A spectacular Opening Ceremony, with a parade of athletes and lighting of the Cauldron, takes place Friday evening to kick off two great days of competition.

After the torch lightning finished, Big Joe Henry welcomed the athletes to the start of the 2015 Summer Games for the Special Olympics New Jersey.

As the ceremony opened, the Garden State Police Pipe and Drum Band performed to kickoff the festivities.
