New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has a frozen yogurt flavor.

Vermont-based Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is selling “Taste the Lin-Sanity” at its Harvard Square shop, near his alma mater.

Ryan Midden, the company’s manager for Boston and Cambridge, said in a story Friday on The Boston Globe’s boston.com website the promotion includes an in-store basketball hoop where customers can try to win a $1 discount. It’s continuing through Harvard’s basketball season with some proceeds going to charity.

The vanilla concoction comes with lychee honey swirls and a fresh waffle cookie.

The company is known for celebrity flavors.
