Mack Darrow hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, his only field goal of the game, as Princeton rallied to defeat Rider 72-71 in overtime Wednesday night.

Ian Hummer had 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Tigers (5-6), who trailed by 16 in the first half.

Rider, which lost its sixth straight, is 1-10 for the first time since 1943-44.

Princeton took its first lead at 61-60 on a T.J. Bray layup with 2:24 left in regulation. Bray hit a 3 and Hummer added a free throw to put Princeton up 65-61 with 34 seconds left. Brandon Penn then hit a 3 and added a foul shot with 15 seconds left to force overtime.

Rider led 70-67 in the extra period before Hummer hit a jumper with 38 seconds left. Rider's Jonathon Thompson, who scored a career-high 17 points, went 1 of 2 from the line before Darrow's game-winner.
