On Wednesday the 2013 inductees to the Baseball Hall of Fame will be announced.  There were several controversial former players on this year's ballot for the first time.

At least three of the players who had stellar careers have been linked to using performing enhancing drugs.  The three most prominent names that have been linked to P.E.D.'s include Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, and Sammy Sosa.  Keep in mind that Mark McGwire and Rafael Palmeiro, who are included in the cloud of controversy, have been on the ballot for five years and have not, so far, been voted into The Hall of Fame.

I realize there are questions about the Pete Rose case.  Perhaps we'll address his issue later on.

For the time being we are dealing with P.E.D.'s.

So here's my question.  Should baseball players surrounded by the P.E.D. controversy be inducted into Cooperstown?

Please feel free to add your comments.  I'd love to hear them.
