In case you missed it, last Saturday was International Bacon Day. We’ve probably found more uses for bacon than ever before. We even put it in chocolate and on ice cream. But bacon is not New Jersey. Bacon is Iowa.

Pork roll is a staple of New Jersey cuisine and it’s only gaining popularity. We have pork roll festivals, , Dunkin' Donuts trotted out a new pork roll sandwich,  and in my opinion the greatest pork roll delicacy is the ‘Thunderdog” which I was able to try at Chickie and Pete’s at Arm and Hammer Park.

If you had your choice between a slice of bacon or a piece of pork roll which would you choose? Help us end the debate by voting below.
