It's good to be back with you after an incredibly hot weekend.

It was 102 at Newark Liberty Airport.  It was even 100 at the beaches, which was punctuated by some strong thunderstorms with Brick seeing a wind gust of 78 miles per hour, and a damaging thunderstorm that moved through Ocean County early Saturday evening.

Even Sunday, highs were 91 in Atlantic City and Trenton, 96 at Newark Liberty Airport.

We'll have clouds and some sunshine across New Jersey today.  There's just the chance of a far South Jersey shower.  The majority of the day should be rain-free for most of the state.  Temperatures will be back into the 80s with moderate to low humidity.  Lower humidity will be true in Central and, especially Northern counties today.

Temperatures tonight will be back into the 60s with some clouds around.  More than likely, it will be rain free.

There's just the chance of a shower tomorrow, especially in South Jersey.  Other spots might have a shower, as well with highs back in the 80s.

And it looks like the weather will be cooperating for the middle part of the week, although it may tend to go downhill as we head toward the end of the work week for the upcoming weekend.

More on that later.
