Authorities Investigating Two “Suspicious” Deaths in Maplewood

Two bodies have been found at the same site in a northern New Jersey town, and authorities say both deaths are considered "suspicious."

But except for stating that the victims as a man and a woman, few details have been disclosed.

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray says the bodies were found Tuesday in Maplewood, adding that the matter was being investigated by detectives from the township and her office's homicide/major crimes task force.

But she would not provide further details on the discovery or the investigation, saying no more information would be disclosed until autopsies were conducted.
