Eighteen-year-old Hakim Walls and 20-year-old Jermaine Jackson, both of Bridgeton, were captured Monday afternoon. Jackson was found in Millville, while Walls was found in the Bridgeton area.

The two men and a juvenile inmate had fled from the Cumberland County Detention Center in Hopewell Township after they overpowered a guard Saturday night. But the juvenile was captured a short time later.

Walls and Jackson were both being held on weapons charges. Though both are adults, they were being held at a youth detention center because they were minors when they were originally sentenced.

Both men were charged with conspiracy, escape and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
