Ray Rossi

Ray "el rey de la noche!"....merely a Jersey Guy with a microphone, a transmitter, and an internet connection.   I'm proud to host New Jersey's only all live/all local/all night show...every weeknight from 11 to 3...spreading the gospel of the Garden State to every corner of the globe via RadioPup on your smartphone...on your computer at nj1015.com...at home and in your car from the big and imposing frequency modulated stick at 101.5! I've been a resident of Manalapan since 1987, and have watched the town grow. And I don't plan to move out of here any time soon...unless the taxes become unbearable, in which case maybe I'll go back to my grandmother's little village in Nola, Italy and speak in non-incoherent Neapolitan much to the amusement of the locals.

Deer drowning in swimming pool saved by first responders – waste of time or heroic?

Here’s a question. Would you bother diving into a pool to save the life of a drowning deer?
I would imagine no one wants to see a helpless animal drown. But by the same token, that “helpless animal” could conceivably take out a front end of a car – or worse

POLL: Is New Jersey’s quarantine policy sensible or an overreaction?

The story of Kaci Hickox, the 33 year old Doctors Without Borders nurse, who returned from West Africa and subsequently quarantined in Newark - albeit under what she termed “inhumane conditions” – has stirred up a debate over whether our quarantine policy is overreaching or sensible

POLL: Lengthen the bear hunt?

Animal activists hate it. Hunters love it.

And the battle starts a little early this year over the annual bear hunt – which normally begins around December.

This time, especially in the wake of the Rutgers student that had wandered into the woods and was subsequently attacked, West Milford town council is asking the state for permission to expand the bear hunt
