Jeff and Bill opened the show today by asking the listeners if they've ever bought something off the tv and if it was worth it or it was a piece of junk. Many of us have found ourselves up late at night, watching one of those "As Seen on TV" infomercials and in our tired stupor, went and purchased an item, that if it was during the day, we may never have purchased.

Crossing the Street is Deadly in NJ

After all the public awareness campaigns and changes to law, pedestrian deaths in the Garden State are actually slightly higher than the year before.  A report from the Tri-State Transportation Campaign found 440 pedestrians died on Jersey roads from 2009 to 2011, up from 436 killed from 2008 to 2010.
