Join United by Blue, Hoagitos and the Jersey Collective for a cleanup of Sunset Lake from 10 am - Noon! The health of Sunset Lake dictates the environment for animals, humans and marine life alike. Unfortunately, litter can accumulate on the shores of the lake and in the water. Help us care for this Asbury Park gem, and get fueled up ahead of the cleanup with coffee served on-site, courtesy of Mindful Cafe. United By Blue will provide water, trash bags, supplies, and gloves for volunteers. All volunteers will also have the chance to win prizes during two cleanup games: weirdest trash find and total weight guess. Keep in touch for updates about the cleanup. Groups of all sizes are welcome! Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty or wet. This event is free and open to the public!

Come celebrate the National Park Service's 100-year anniversary with an evening of poetry, music, theater and dance. Featured artists include: the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Hispanic Roots Quartet, Impact Repertory Theatre of Harlem, Inner City Ensemble Theatre & Dance Co., Jaimeo Brown & Drummers, the Paterson Music Project, Poets reg e. gaines, Kurtis Lamkin, Laura Boss, and Angela Kariotis, and the Passaic County Youth Poets. A mural created by Halls That Inspire will be unveiled during the event, and photography by the Centennial Class will be exhibited at the Paterson Museum in the Great Falls Historic District. Hungry?
