Tri the Wildwoods - Triathon, 5k & Kids Splash & Dash

Peach & Butterfly Festival

United By Blue's Cleanup at Sunset Lake

Join United by Blue, Hoagitos and the Jersey Collective for a cleanup of Sunset Lake from 10 am - Noon! The health of Sunset Lake dictates the environment for animals, humans and marine life alike. Unfortunately, litter can accumulate on the shores of the lake and in the water. Help us care for this Asbury Park gem, and get fueled up ahead of the cleanup with coffee served on-site, courtesy of Mindful Cafe. United By Blue will provide water, trash bags, supplies, and gloves for volunteers. All volunteers will also have the chance to win prizes during two cleanup games: weirdest trash find and total weight guess. Keep in touch for updates about the cleanup. Groups of all sizes are welcome! Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty or wet. This event is free and open to the public!

Centennial Art in the Park Showcase

Come celebrate the National Park Service's 100-year anniversary with an evening of poetry, music, theater and dance. Featured artists include: the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Hispanic Roots Quartet, Impact Repertory Theatre of Harlem, Inner City Ensemble Theatre & Dance Co., Jaimeo Brown & Drummers, the Paterson Music Project, Poets reg e. gaines, Kurtis Lamkin, Laura Boss, and Angela Kariotis, and the Passaic County Youth Poets. A mural created by Halls That Inspire will be unveiled during the event, and photography by the Centennial Class will be exhibited at the Paterson Museum in the Great Falls Historic District. Hungry? Look for the Empanada Lady and Little Jimmy's Italian Ices on site. Funded by an NEA Imagine Your Parks grant. 4 – 8 pm.

Tackle and Field Outdoor Expo

Tackle and Field will be hosting an Outdoor Expo from Aug. 17 10 am to 5 pm and Aug. 28 from 10 am to 3 pm. The Outdoor Expo will have professional vendors like Carbon Express, Megabass, and many more doing demonstrations and giveaways. A game simulator will also be available to use for the kids on Aug. 27 from 11 am to 4 pm. Tackle and Field will also be having a tent sale and offering lunch from Noon to 2 pm.

Maker Depot MakerFest 2016

NJs largest makerspace is hosting this community event to showcase makers and craftspeople from throughout the area. Exhibitors will demonstrate: 3D design & print, video game coding, Cosplay, fine art, doll making, as well as wood, leather, metal wool, chainmail, glass designs. And MUCH more. Be sure to join the day-long maker community build, as we work together to create a piece of furniture to donate to fellow exhibitors - Paterson Habitat for Humanity.

Farm-to-Fork Dinner

The Foodshed Alliance will host its annual Farm to Fork dinner and wine tasting at 4 pm.  A cocktail hour and SEVEN-course wine-pairing dinner will be presented by EIGHT of Northern New Jersey's most reputable chefs, featuring locally produced food from farms throughout northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Expert winemakers have hand selected each course's pairing which will begin with gourmet passed hors d'oeuvres, a VIP vineyard tour, and elegant dining overlooking our picturesque estate vineyard.  Live musical Entertainment. The dinner is a fundraising event for the Foodshed Alliance, a grassroots organization dedicated to integrating local food systems that sustain local farmers.
