Atlantic Highlands Man Sentenced For Child Porn

Federal prosecutors say a central New Jersey man who had numerous child pornography videos and images on his computer has been sentenced to 78 months in prison.

Twenty-eight-year-old Danial Hillman of Atlantic Highlands also must register as a sex offender under the sentence imposed Wednesday. And once he's freed from prison, he will have to serve five years of supervised release.

Hillman had pleaded guilty last year to possessing child porn. The charge stemmed from an April 2011 raid on Hillman's home.

Prosecutors say undercover law enforcement officers used peer-to-peer sharing software to download videos and images of child porn from Hilman's shared directories, including some that showed "sadistic conduct."
