Atlantic City On Heightened Alert After Boston Blasts
Atlantic City police say they are on heightened alert following the deadly explosions at the Boston marathon.
Police Sgt. Monica McMenamin says police are asking residents and visitors to be alert and report anything suspicious.
But the city's 12 casinos remain open, and executives at several say they have not been told by authorities to undertake any unusual security measures beyond those normally in place.
New Jersey authorities also placed a regional emergency medical technician network on a heightened state of readiness in case there is any incident in the state.
