Atlantic City Enlists Bloggers For A Boost

Atlantic City tourism boosters are hoping a group of bloggers can help boost the resort city's reputation.

The Atlantic City Alliance had 11 out-of-town bloggers in the city for the Fourth of July in hopes they'll give the city good reviews and their online followers will head to the shore, too.

The group also invited about 20 out-of-town traditional journalists for the holiday, which featured fireworks, concerts and light shows.

Promoters of the city tell The Press of Atlantic City that they focused on "mom bloggers" for this trip.
