Police in New Jersey are on alert after two potentially armed and dangerous suspects from Tennessee were recently spotted across the river in Pennsylvania.

Makayla Danielle Stilwell, 22, and Jarret Cole Heitman, 24, were added to Tennessee’s Top 10 Most Wanted List after they were accused of a kidnapping and shooting in that state on June 20.

The pair is accused of kidnapping a victim at gunpoint and then using the victim an hour later to lure a 34-year-old man to his front door, where he was shot in the chest by one of the two.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been looking for the two ever since. Police have not recovered any weapons from the crimes, and consider the two armed and dangerous.

Police said Heitmann is known to travel by hitchhiking and freight train.

They were spotted last Saturday at a Walmart in Matamoras, Pennsylvania, across the Delaware River from the New Jersey and New York borders.

A New Jersey State Police spokesman on Friday that the two had not been seen in New Jersey.

Heitman was described as standing 6 feet and 1 inch tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Stilwell is described as 5 feet and 9 inches, 145 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone who spots them should call police.

Tennessee authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for each of their capture.
