But Seaside Heights police tell the Asbury Park Press that it’s not yet known if the two men stabbed each other or if other people were involved in the incident, which was reported around 3:15 a.m. Saturday.

One victim was a 31-year-old Toms River man who suffered a stab wound to the upper abdomen, while the other was a 24-year-old Lacey man who was stabbed in the bicep area.

Both men were treated at a hospital, but their names and further details on their injuries were not disclosed.

It was not clear what sparked the argument that led to the stabbing. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
