Are you afraid to fly overseas?

Traveling abroad can be a wonderful experience, but some people are nervous about leaving the US.

People become apprehensive about long flights, language barriers, and adjusting to a way of life that is different from what they know. When you factor in conflict happening overseas, it can add to the list of worries. Recently, a student from NJ that was traveling in Jerusalem went missing. This is unfortunately not the first time a person traveling out of the country disappeared.

Some travelers insist that the life changing experiences that happen while visiting other countries outweigh the risk of potential harm while there.

Do situations like this discourage you from traveling overseas, or do you take the risk and fly anyway?
