Are dad-chelor parties a thing in New Jersey? (Poll)

I’m always suspicious when a new trend is trumpeted as “growing” based on a few anecdotal reports, but here we go: Male baby showers are supposed to be on the rise. A bunch of men hang around, play baby-themed party games, and drink beer.

I have never even heard of someone having a male baby shower, and why would you? The man’s participation in the process ends with insemination. He doesn’t carry the child, experience wild hormone swings during the pregnancy, or have the baby come out of a small opening in his body. Plus, you get all the baby supplies you need from the mom-to-be’s shower(s). I think it’s just an excuse to drink.
