One day this week we talked about falling asleep while driving. After the terrible Tracy Morgan crash and other recent incidents this put New Jersey's drowsy driving law back in the news. People called in with stories of close calls and also with tips and tricks on how to keep awake.

A listener named Jessica wrote us afterwards with something I never even considered. She says for ten years she would briefly fall asleep while driving along with having a host of other problems. After many tests and misdiagnoses, she found out she has Narcolepsy. One in every 2,000 people in the U.S. has it, far more than I would have imagined, and according to this listener only about 25% get properly diagnosed and treated. So hey, all jokes and the character from Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo aside, here's some information.
