My prediction of low to mid 90s yesterday worked out reasonably well.

It got to 94 in Atlantic City and Newark.  The normal high is around 86.

Today will be even hotter, mostly sunny, and rather humid with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.  There's the outside chance that somebody gets to 100, but let's say mid to upper 90s, for sure.  There will definitely be some relief at the beaches today.

Very warm and humid tonight with most lows in the 70s, but a few 60s are possible NW Jersey and closer to 80 along the south coast and in urban areas.

Sunshine, still hot and humid tomorrow, but gusty thunderstorms will arrive at some point Wednesday afternoon and evening.  Temperatures will be in the low to middle 90s, but cooler tomorrow near the ocean.

Certainly some showers to start with Thursday, if not off and on all day, but certainly to start with.  It won't be as warm, with highs in the 80s and 70s at the beaches.

And the weather may still be a bit on the unsettled side for Friday, but temperatures will be lower during the afternoon.

The weekend, at least right now, looks reasonably okay.  We'll have more about the weekend coming up in future reports.
