Conservative author and personality Ann Coulter's political crush on Governor Chris Christie is over as she declares that he is "dead" to her.

tweet following the vote on the immigration reform bill on Thursday, she cited a vote by U.S. Senator Jeff Chiesa (R) in favor of the bill.

In later tweets, she engaged in conversation with people who believe Christie is a "fraud" and a "RINO" (Republican In Name Only) and vows to blame Christie if the bill is signed into law. "if amnesty passes, country is over. THANKS CHRIS CHRISTIE!." she later tweeted.

Coulter was an early, vocal supporter of Christie running for President. "I don't care if [Chris Christie] wants to run, his country needs him, it appears," she said on Fox News in February, 2011.

While many conservatives criticized Christie for being friendly with President Obama in the days after Hurricane Sandy, Coulter defended the governor. "There seems to be a concerted movement by both liberals and conservatives to lie about Christie and make him seem more liberal than he really is."

Coulter's new political love appears to be freshman Texas Senator Ted Cruz; she added CRUZ 2016 to her tweet about Christie.
