There's good and bad news for Chris Christie as he tries to pump up his presidential chances.

His time in New Hampshire is paying off, and his poll numbers are improving.

In fact, new data shows that in a head-to-head battle with Hillary Clinton, it is a tie in the Granite State.

However, in Iowa, the numbers are not so rosy.

More than half of Republicans say Christie is not conservative enough, with two-in-three possessing a negative view of him.

Christie trails Scott Walker, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz with just three percent of voter support.

The governor has not spending a lot of time in Iowa because the bulk of his focus remains in New Hampshire.
