Amazon opening new distribution center in New Jersey
CARTERET, N.J. (AP) -- Amazon.com says it's planning a second fulfilment center in New Jersey.
The online retail giant announced Monday that it would be taking over a former Wakefern building adjacent to the New Jersey Turnpike in Carteret, bringing hundreds of jobs.
The Seattle-based company says it plans to move in quickly though an exact timeline has not been made public.
Amazon opened a bigger facility in Robbinsville in July 2014.
