OK not really, but honestly all the hype annoyed me more than anything.

Call me when it's a total eclipse in the Garden State. What really bothered me is that so many news outlets and organizations felt the need to do a Public Service Announcement on "Eclipse Safety".

So I went outside, looked around and it was so bright that it was nearly impossible to look up and see anything but bright white light. Then I put on the official certified eclipse glasses and have to admit it was pretty cool to see the moon over the orange sun. That said, it's only partial for us.

Nothing like what they'll see in the southern part of the country. My point is that you shouldn't need a PSA in order to do what is common sense. Don't stare directly at the sun!  And don't wear black out eclipse glasses while driving.

But did you really need me to tell you that?  C'mon!
