All Lanes Closed Due to Crash, Downed Wires on Route 9 in Lacey

Route 9 is closed in Lacey Township in both directions due to an accident.

28 year-old Paul Shook of Barnegat wound up in Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin after his pickup into a pole in front of the Oyster Creek nuclear plant.

Traffic in both directions is detouring at Beach Boulevard and Clearwater Drive as crews clean up the crash and repair fallen utility lines.

Several homes are also without power in the area according to the JCP+L outage map.
