Brandon Jacobs Tweeted the message along with the photo, "Read this note and tell me what u think. http://lockerz.com/s/214729476" Tuesday, June 5.

The child, Joseph Armento, had his mother Julie transcribe the letter for him because he's just learning how to read.

His mother writes, "My 6-year-old son, Joseph, is a huge NY Giants fan. Last year he had the opportunity to go to a game, and he just fell in love with the team. When he asked me why you were going to SF I explained to him that the Giants did not have enough money to keep you. So, in an effort to convince you to return to NY he wrote you the enclosed letter, and included money for you from his piggy bank."

Brandon Jacobs was moved by the letter, and followed his first message up with another saying, "I almost cried, I am still trying to hold it in. I may have to pay him a surprise visit."

On Thursday, Brandon Jacobs Tweets, "Here's what I am thinking for the kid, I have a 5 year old, I will go and pick Joe up at his home in jersey and take him and my son 2 chucky cheese, what y'all think about that."

Brandon Jacobs became a free agent following the Giants Super Bowl win. He was picked up by the 49ers this Spring.

Dear Mr. Jacobs,

My 6-year-old son, Joseph, is a huge NY Giants fan. Last year he had the opportunity to go to a game, and he

just fell in love with the team. When he asked me why you were going to SF I explained to him that the Giants did not have enough money to keep you. So, in an effort to convince you to return to NY he wrote you the enclosed letter, and included money for you from his piggy bank.

Joseph is just learning to read/ write so I will help you by translating his letter:

Dear Brandon Jacobs,

So you could go to the Giants, here is my money.

Love, Joe

I hope this letter finds you well. Congratulations on the Superbowl win! Our family will miss you next year, but we wish you all the very best in San Francisco.

Sincerely,
Julie Armento
