Adoption Monday: Redford’s ready for a new forever home

This week they brought us Redford, a 9-year-old Shepherd mix. He was kept as an outside dog, but when the weather got too cold he was taken from his original owners and is looking for a nice warm forever home.

Redford might be a little shy at first, but he can be very sweet once he gets to know you. He also knows several commands including sit, stay, and come. He also knows he's handsome which is why he loves to get bathed and brushed.

How to adopt:

The Monmouth County SPCA asks would-be pet parents to visit the Homeward Bound Adoption Center in Eatontown or the Adoption Center at the Freehold Raceway Mall to meet its pets. It only conducts adoptions in person, and asks that you please bring all family members. To receive more information, call the adoption line: 732-542-5962.

The Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was founded in 1945 to care for the community’s homeless, neglected and abused animals.
