Nooch is an affectionate 1-year-old dog who was found as a stray and went unclaimed.  She is extremely active like most puppies and would do best with a family with no small children.  Nooch would blossom with obedience training, since she is a sweet dog who needs to work off her energy level.  Nooch loves to be outside and belly crawl in the grass.

To learn more about Nooch or to schedule a visit, email dogs@easelnj.org. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable dogs, puppies here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.

Adopt Jerry

Meet Jerry - a big, lovable goofball.  He is between 3 and 4 years old and we’re sure that he wishes he were a lap dog.  He loves to give kisses and is prone to rolling over on his belly for a good scratching.  He is a strong boy with a loving temperament.  He loves to play.  Jerry has been at the shelter for almost a year now and is definitely ready for a loving, forever home.

He has bonded with one of the volunteers and has learned to sit and lie down on command.  He walks very well on the leash with a harness (he is a strong boy).  While walking he pays no attention to other dogs and does not react to passersby.  He is really rather mellow.  Because of his size and playfulness we would not place him in a home with small children and he needs an owner who is willing to work with him and establish control and boundaries.   Jerry is an impressive-looking animal and draws attention when out in public.

Come meet him and fall in love.  You can contact the volunteer who has been spending lots of time with him and she would be happy to make an appointment to meet you at the shelter and introduce you to Jerry.  Her name is Sharon and her number is 585-259-3726.

Adopt Clyde

Devastatingly handsome Clyde doesn’t look a day over 2 even though he is a mature, neutered 10-year-old.  We suspect it was all that playing with his sister Bonnie since he was a kitten that has kept him young; his sweetness no doubt came from his sister telling him when enough was enough.  Clyde learned his lessons well and he is nothing but a gentlemen at all times.  Reach a hand out to this guy and your heart melts as he rolls over and curls his front legs up like a bunny rabbit, he is so cute.  Like his sister, Clyde is front declawed and neutered so home is the only place he belongs.  If at all possible, we would love to see Bonnie and Clyde in a home together again.  There is something very special about the brother-sister bond.  Come meet handsome Clyde to see for yourself.

Adopt Fluffy

Fluffy is a super sweet loving little lady. She really enjoys being pet and loved and enjoys being brushed. She would make a great addition to any home, but a mature cat probably wants a more mature family. A calm setting, a welcoming lap, a caring home, is just what this girl needs. Fluffy is about 7 or 8 years old.  If your heart would open up to her, Fluffy has a lot of good years left in her.  Fluffy recently had dental work, so she is set for her new people.

To learn more about Fluffy you can email kitty@easelnj.org. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable cats, kittens here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.
