The New Jersey Turnpike has reopened at exit #5 for Mount Holly following a Saturday morning accident.

One northbound lanes is getting by as police and rescue crews continue to work on the accident. A medical helicopter was called to the scene  according to New Jersey Fast Traffic.

Traffic is backed up for several miles northbound approaching exit 5. The delays can be avoided by getting on Interstate 295 north, which parallels the Turnpike, to I-195 and then east back to the Turnpike.
